Starting at Itchen Abbas we'll make our way north through Itchen Woods towards Micheldever Woods which hopefully at this time of year will have plenty of bluebells scattered across the forest floor. We'll walk part of the Archaeological Trail while in Micheldever Woods, stopping for lunch before heading back towards Itchen Abbas. Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink. Suitable clothing and footwear required as the forest can get muddy depending on the weather. After the walk there is a pub ( The Plough ) just opposite our starting point. Note: Parking outside St.Johns Church is limited, alternative parking may be available along 'Old Station Road' just 3 minutes walk away, please park considerably around the village. Car Sharing is Encouraged.
