Join us for a 3-night walking trip on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. Our base for the weekend will be a large self-catered traditional stone farmhouse in single sex dormitories based at Brenscombe Outdoor Centre a 30-minute walk from the centre of Corfe. With direct footpaths to the Purbeck Ridge and heathland we are perfectly placed to explore the peninsula. A full walk itinerary will be detailed closer to the time, but we will likely incorporate Old Harry Rocks, Studland, Jurassic Coast, the famous Square & Compass Pub and fossil museum and Dancing Ledge etc. We will have a full day walking on the Saturday (approx. 10 miles) and Sunday (approx. 10 miles) and for those who would like to, a walk can also be arranged on the Monday after checkout. A group evening meal at a local pub will be arranged for the Saturday evening. We will also look at trying to incorporate a visit to The Etches Collection Museum of Jurassic Marine to see the recently discovered Pliosaur skull which was featured on the BBC documentary ‘Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster’. This trip is based on 12 people attending and places will go quickly. Please get in touch for further information. £85.00 per person for the 3 nights, self-catered based on 12 people. If we do not reach 12 people, the cost will go up. A 50% deposit of £42.50 is required per person upon booking.
