We head east through Bishopstoke, escaping into countryside at Stoke Park Wood, continuing through fields and more woodland to our lunch stop at around 6 miles. The route then runs west past Marwell House and Zoo (keep your eyes peeled for any glimpses of the animals!), carrying on to the River Itchen at Kiln Lane. From here we turn south and follow the river all the way back to the pub. Please bring a packed lunch.

: Regular trains to Eastleigh from Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Winchester and Romsey. Roadside parking on Riverside/Church Road (the road the pub is on) or surrounding residential streets (free on Sundays). Alternative parking at Bishopstoke Road car park by the sports grounds, 5-10 minute walk from the pub, free on Sundays but can be packed.
