Met Walkers invitation to join their New Forest night walk

Explore the New Forest by night! A great chance to visit one of England's finest rural areas, recorded in the Domesday book and home to many rare species. Suggest bringing a head torch as it will be quite dark in wooded areas. On arrival at Brockenhurst, we'll head to a pub for dinner. The walk itself will start at 11pm. Bring sufficient food and water for the night; the walk will need to be at a moderate pace but we'll stop for food breaks and any significant opportunities to spot wildlife. We'll reach Lymington at around 8am, where we'll be able to buy breakfast. Due to the chance of spotting wildlife - which will hopefully not be expecting us - this walk is not suitable for dogs. Directions: Brockenhurst station (Nearest postcode: SO42 7TW). Buy a return to Brockenhurst (not a same-day return!). We'll need to buy a small single from Lymington Town to Brockenhurst on Sunday morning - trains from 9:16.
