Country walk in the gentle hills and woodland south of Winchester. It offers a variety of terrain, from pastures to woodland and easy tracks between hedgerows. There are some ploughed fields along the route and a few sheep! One of the surprised along the way is Marwell Zoo. There are nettles along some of the paths and if it’s been wet it may be muddy along the horse paths so please wear appropriate footwear. The walk is Dog friendly. Please bring a packed lunch and something to sit on. We will go for a drink at The Pheonix Inn at the end of the walk for anyone who wants to come along.

: Park in either of the side roads at the traffic lights. There is also space in the vicinity near the Post Office. Meet outside the Phoenix Inn. Parking is limited so please car share if possible.
