A few miles into Wiltshire is a historical tower known as The Pepperbox. We will start there and descend into the northernmost part of the New Forest, which includes the Langley Wood National Nature Reserve. We will then climb steadily, finishing with a walk along a ridge with views out towards Salisbury. Bring a packed lunch. Numbers are limited to 20 because of the size of the car park.
: Pepperbox Hill car park
: As you reach the top of the hill on the A36 between Southampton and Salisbury, the car park is signposted and requires a sharp turn to the right. You will then go up steep and slightly bumpy track, with the car park on the right at the top.
