including the latest guidelines on physical distancing. For more information about COVID-19 and Ramblers group walks, please
see our guidance for walkers on the coronavirus pages of the Ramblers website here.
In order to minimise the risk as far as possible we have have also published guidance for members here.
Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Corona Virus.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up
for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
For your safety, we request that you avoid car sharing, and it is recommended that you bring hand sanitizer to reduce the
risk of infection after touching gates/stiles etc.
On Saturday 2 June HCC Rights of Way and South Downs National Park are organising a ‘Hit the Trail’ event. This is designed to promote the varying uses of the Meon Valley Trail along the old railway from south of Wickham to West Meon. As part of this we're putting on a short walk along the trail, suitable for new walkers (or experienced walkers looking for a more relaxed day).
We're starting after lunch, so just good footwear and a coat are required. We should arrive back in West Meon in time to join in the village fete.
