Rowlands Castle Circular via Blendworth, Chalton, Idsworth and Finchdean

Circular walk of approximately 12 miles, via Rowlands Castle - Monarch's Way - Noble's Farm - Blendworth - New Barn Farm - Windmill Hill - Chalton - Idsworth - Finchdean. Hilly ( up and down ). Open hills, gentle woodlands. The walk should take approximately 5 hours with stops. Please bring snacks, a packed lunch and something to drink. Suitable clothing and footwear required as parts of the walk can get muddy depending on the weather. Waterproofs advised if rain is forecast. Optional Pub Stop at 'The Castle Inn'. Free Parking available at Rowlands Castle Train Station ( can get busy so plan a backup ), Along The Village Green and Some Side Streets a short walk away such as 'College Close' ( off Redhill Road ) and 'The Fairway' ( north of the green ). There is a small cafe ( The Bumblebee Cafe ) near the starting point which has toilets if you require, but please purchase something before doing so. Starting Point is at the 'East End of The Green'.
