Farley Mount to Kings Somborne loop

Starting at Farley Mount Country park over looking West Wood we'll head towards Farley Mount monument- an 18th century monument marking the burial place of a horse named 'beware chalk pit'. On a clear day you can see all the way across to Southampton docks from the monument. We'll then continue on through Parnholt wood (good for bluebells in the spring!) towards Kings Somborne and then head back along the Clarendon way. There will be a lunch stop and please bring appropriate foot wear. Option of driving a couple of minutes down the road to a farm shop and café after.

Start/Meeting: Junction car park, Sarum Road, SO21 2PA (post code approximate)

Directions: The car park is on the junction of Farley Mount Road and Sarum Road. What three words: calculate.rash.nicknames. Parking is free. There is another car park next to it if it's full.
