Description This is an easy flat walk-through woodland. The 6-mile walk will take in the Arboretum which houses a beautiful collection of trees from many countries, the Tall Trees Trail along Rhinefield Ornamental Drive and a looping route through the stunning forested area. Along the trail you will encounter the biggest trees in the New Forest including the Douglas fir, giant sequoias and the Wellingtonia coast redwood which can grow to be the largest living thing on earth. There are Sensory information boards and sculptures along the trail that provide fascinating facts about the tallest, heaviest, and toughest trees in the world.
